British Formula Ford Duratec

We currently have on offer the position of a single drive for 2012 in Class B (Duratec) of the Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain.

You would be the lead driver within the team for Class B and team mate to our driver in class A.

We have available a 2009 Mygale chassis that has been maintained regardless of cost and comes with factory fitted 2010 upgrades.

The car features

·         Freshly tuned Minster Engine

·         Monoshock front suspension

·         Quantum dampers

·         Lightweight kit

·         Stack data logger

·         Twin pot AP racing callipers

·         Hewland LD200 Gearbox with recent rebuild

·         Adjustable brake bias

·         Full 6 point safety harness and head restraint

Becoming part of the team you will also enter into our Driver Development programme.

The programme is based on the experience and expertise of multiple World Champions such as Andy Priaulx.

We have very strong links with the iZone Driver Performance Centre based at Silverstone, which we use for the basis of all our driver training and development.

The facility features training rooms with AV equipment, a Zone Room for mind conditioning and visualisation exercises and a state of the art motion simulator optimised to provide training and realistic practice for professional racing drivers. 

We have personally found that the development of a driver, in terms of vision and concentration, can increase significantly when the iZone is used in conjunction with regular on track testing.

The key elements of our driver development programme are based around personal performance and allowing the driver to enter ‘The Zone’ at will.
